PFAFF® Taping Foot

The Taping Foot is designed to apply seam tape to seams, helping to prevent stretching. It’s especially useful for stabilising shoulder seams. With this foot, you can reinforce and construct seams in a single step.

1. Set your overlocker to a 4-thread overlock stitch.

2. Place the seam tape into the guides on the foot.

3. Adjust the screw to suit the width of the tape.

4. Attach the Taping Foot to the machine.

5. Sew the seam as usual.

Note: Works best with 6–8mm (¼ inch) seam tape.
