Sewing the Olive Bloom Bra

It's no secret I love to sew lingerie! How many handmade bras is too many?

There's no limit to that in my opinion. There are always beautiful new fabrics and laces to buy, new techniques to try, or a new design to nut out. I love it, and the PFAFF creative 3.0 is the perfect lingerie-making companion.

This week we designed some new lingerie kits for sale over at Pitt Trading and the olive bloom kit particularly caught my eye.

The softness of the delicate floral embroidered tulle with those deep khaki and gold trims is just lovely.

As you might imagine, the embroidered lace and bra tulle is very soft and fine, but the creative 3.0 handles these delicate fabrics with ease, with no puckering or pulled threads.

I filmed a video that shows the process of this make, in a much more therapeutic manner than what actually occurred! Sewing with two 3-year-olds in tow is a challenge! But I pushed through and am so pleased with the end result.

Until next time, Happy sewing
