1. Raise the presser foot.
2. Turn the handwheel slowly toward you until the needle has been raised to the highest position.
3. Open the hinged bobbin cover
4. Hold the bobbin case in one hand and insert the bobbin into the case so that the thread runs in a clockwise direction.
5. Pull the thread through the slit and under the finger.
6. Hold the bobbin case by the hinged latch on the bobbin case.
7. Insert the prepared bobbin into the shuttle.
