How to add padding to your bra cup after loss of volume
Introduction
October is breast care awareness month, and we think this little project: How To Add Padding To A Bra Cup, is a great way to make your breasts look their best!
Making your own bust improvement pads is a great way to add volume to your cup, it saves you money and gives you an effortless fuller look.
You can use any fabric you like (a great time to look through your scrap stash!) Remember to consider the comfortability and washability of the fabric you choose.
Requirements:
Here are the supplies you will need for our tutorial, how to add padding to a bra:
Fabric of your choice. (quantity will depend on your measurements.)
Measure the diameter of the cup of the bra to which you would like to add padding.
Find a circular shape that closely matches your measurements. A small bowl, or a circular lid should work.
Trace the circular shape onto your fabric and cut out x 4 times. (this is 2 x fabric pieces for each breast pad.
Construction:
Place 2 x fabric pieces right sides together and pin.
Stitch around the circumference, leaving a small gap to turn it right way out.
Fill with poly-fil, using your personal preference for volume as a guide.
Repeat the above steps with the remaining supplies to create your second breast pad to complete the set.
